About

I’m Jana, a Psychologist at LifeWorks. It is my passion to help my clients develop healthy relationships and live productive, fulfilling lives in a confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive environment.

My desire to help people and passion for psychology stem from my personal experience with life-changing situations such as parental divorce, addiction problems in a family, and baby blues. As well, I understand the difficulties associated with adjustment challenges related to immigration and assimilation, dealing with Narcissistic people, dealing with relationship challenges, dealing with children’s behavioral issues, and dealing with traumatizing events in one’s life.

Additionally, I deal with challenges within the areas of marital and family problems, loss of a loved one, anxiety, loneliness, depression, psychological aspects of medical conditions, behavioral problems, sleep disturbances, and difficulties at work.

Change is important to my clients, and they’re motivated to make it happen. I enjoy providing them with tools and techniques that can help them reach their potential and stop coming to therapy. As much as possible I plan and direct my sessions toward meeting the goals you have set for us.

As a therapist, I combine elements of various approaches, including humanistic, psychoanalytic/psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and EMDR therapy, in my sessions.
